  1st time here really enjoyed their food! Fresh seafood reminded me of the coast. Will return! Service was great. I ordered their Thursday special and It was amazing salt and pepper style.

  Every time I come back to the south got to get some southern food.  This place never fails, no matter the time. The food is always outstanding and there's nothing better than outstanding customer service.
  Hats off to the mangers that run this place. Get the fried three. Go for the flounder, scallops, and baby shrimp. A lot food, for a good price.

  Tides Inn has been a part of the Greensboro community as long as I have been alive! People come here after church on Sundays, with their families to celebrate a special occasion, or just on a regular day when they want good food and service.
  
  I visited on a Tuesday afternoon around 5, right before the real dinner crowd rushes in. I ordered the Tides Inn Special. The Tides Inn Special is always on the menu, it contains a deviled crab, 1 piece of flounder, jumbo shrimp, clam strips, scallops, oysters, your choice of potato (baked or French fries), hush puppies, and a side salad! Whew! That's a lot of food, all for $20! Sooo worth it. I'm not a fan of hush puppies so I ignored those. I ate a good portion and the rest was lunch for the next day . Everything came out hot and fresh. Although, of course when you come here you are not receiving fresh, catch of the day, still flopping this morning seafood (most seafood places in Greensboro you aren't) it is still pretty darn delicious if you ask me! My scallops were surprisingly large and tender and my oysters, which are my fave, were the first to be shoveled into my mouth. Everything was good. Only problem I have now is that writing this review is making me hungry all over again!

  I haven't visited this place in a while, but I did order food from Door Dash. Either it's because it was take out, or my memory failed me on the taste of this food.
  
  I ordered the shrimp and oysters, and it was just okay. Actually the portions were small, and it was a little on the greasy side.
  
  Mostly, I'm there for the tarter sauce, and it was simply not good. I probably wouldn't order this again, but they have been around for a while so someone likes it !
  
  Overall, very average.

  My scallops were burnt so bad that the scallops within the batter was burnt! I have the flu but I want to demand my money back cause I paid extra!
